Soulja Boy's New Memoir Details His Rise To Fame

Rapper Soulja Boy will release his first memoir before he turns 21 in a bid to teach fans how to become teenage millionaires.
The "Crank That (Soulja Boy)" hitmaker has put pen to paper for the appropriately titled "Teenage Millionaire," in which he will reveal all about his rise through the music business.
The tome will be released in conjunction with his next album "The DeAndre Way," which is scheduled to hit shelves next month.
Soulja Boy tells MTV News, "It (book) talks about me making my first million dollars at 17 years old. I talk about how my life changed. It talks about the music industry, everything I learned about the music industry - how I got into the music industry with my mind set, all the ins and outs that I go through.
"All the chapters break down my beliefs and what steps and methods I took to get in this position. I just go and break (them) down into detail. I just want all my fans to read it when my album drops and have a good read and feel where I'm coming from."

Chris Brown & Soulja Boy Collaborate

Chris Brown and Soulja Boy Tell 'Em are working on a new "smash" hit for Brown's third album, "Graffiti," according to Rap-Up.com.

Brown wrote a song for Soulja Boy's recent album, "iSouljaBoyTellem," called "Yamaha Mama," but Sean Kingston did the vocals.

Soulja Boy reveals he did a record with Brown about a month ago. He explained, "So we worked together and we did a song that I think a lot of people gon’ like. It’s a smash record. When he put it out, it gon’ get a good response.”

MediaTakeOut is reporting that rapper Soulja Boy proposed to model Rosa Acosta some time last week. The website claims that a celebrity friend of Soulja Boy leaked the info.
Soulja Boy has a huge fan base on Twitter that he shares the most minute details of his life with, from new tattoos to remote control Lamborghinis, but it appears the young star is trying to keep this bit of personal information under wraps.
Rosa Acosta is from the Dominican Republic and an accomplished ballerina. She moved to the United states in 2006 to further her modeling career, and has since been featured in music videos from 50 Cent, Mario, Puff Daddy, and Drake.
Soulja Boy recently worked with Chris Brown on Brown's third album "Graffiti," after the two collaborated on Soulja Boy's iSouljaBoyTellem record. "So we worked together and we did a song that I think a lot of people gon' like. It's a smash record. When he put it out, it gon' get a good response," Soulja Boy said at the time.

Soulja Boy's Hunt For Twitter Fan

Rapper Soulja Boy has launched an online hunt for a woman who vanished from Twitter.com after messaging him.
The Crank That (Soulja Boy) hit-maker was delighted to receive a note from an attractive female on the microblogging site, but he can't retrieve her details to contact her in response.

And the star is urging the mystery woman to send him another message so he can reply.

In a series of posts on the site, he writes, "Lookin for this girl on twitter page. I can't find her all I remember (is) she had a nice smile on her default (picture). Message me! I should have followed her when I had the chance, who knows when she gonna (message) me again! I remember the default tho. Big smile."

Soulja Boy Slams Cocaine Fiend Rumors

Rapper Soulja Boy has taken to Twitter.com to dismiss an alleged girlfriend's reports he's a cocaine fiend.
Self-proclaimed hip-hop groupie Kat Stacks filmed herself wandering around an apartment and claimed her hip-hop lover was taking a shower in another room as she revealed lines of cocaine he'd prepared on a table.
She also shot footage of her sitting in a sports car she claimed belonged to Soulja Boy, real name DeAndre Cortez Way, and filmed herself allegedly speaking with the Superman hit-maker on the phone.
The films were posted online at the beginning of the week, and have now prompted the star to respond via Twitter.
He's particularly upset about the cocaine claims, but doesn't refute Stacks' claims he's dating her.  He tweets, "God knows I didn't do that (cocaine). that's all that matters."

Soulja Boy Gets Probation

Rapper Soulja Boy has been sentenced to 12 months' probation stemming from his arrest at a music video shoot in October. The Crank That (Soulja Boy) hit-maker was shooting a clip at an abandoned house in Georgia with a cast and crew of 40 people, including fans he had invited to participate.
However, when authorities arrived to investigate complaints of noise, half the group, including Soulja Boy, fled by foot.
The hip-hop star, real name DeAndre Cortez Way, was said to have been apprehended by cops and taken to Henry County jail, where he spent the night before he was released on bond. He was charged with obstruction and must now spend a year on probation.
The 19 year old was also ordered to pay a $1,000 fine.

Rapper Soulja Boy has dismissed reports he has been sentenced to 12 months' probation stemming from his arrest at a music video shoot in October. Police responded to complaints of noise coming from the Crank That (Soulja Boy) hit-maker's shoot in Georgia, which involved a cast and crew of 40 people, including fans he had invited to participate.
The hip-hop star, real name DeAndre Cortez Way, fled on foot when cops arrived. He was later taken to Henry County jail, where he spent the night before he was released on bond.
Reports last month claimed he was charged with obstruction and sentenced to a year on probation, as well as having to pay a $1,000 Fine.
However, the 19 year old has shot down the allegations, insisting his record is clean.
He says, "I just want to let everybody know that I didn't get probation. That was like a news blast that was everywhere. I know there's like 12 months probation going around, but I just want to let all my fans know that I ain't got no record. I ain't got no probation or nothing. I did go to court, but I just had to pay a fine so I'm not on probation."
